May, 2009 NEWSLETTER - Firstly, it is so great to see that this season for 2009 has had a remarkable start. We have 57 junior players for this year which has formed 5 great Junior Kapiti Bears League teams and is still to grow. Unfortunately we do not have a senior's team for this year but will be back in action with one for the 2010 season.
- With Club Members increasing, it would be wonderful to have parents/supporters etc, to be involved in all fundraising projects that we have started and with more to come. We are also in urgent search within the club for anybody that could be involved in our Building Committee.
- The Building Committee is very important to the club and will be very important to all our junior players as the Kapiti Bears Club rooms are in need of a revamp to pass legal requirements. Please help this committee because without your help the Club Rooms will not pass the next Building W.O.F.
- For any parents/supporters that would be willing to help or give a small amount of time per week to enable us to form a Building Committee please contact Blair Kronfield 027 443 0793, please remember any help given will be appreciated by all.
- At the start of this season, there were hot milos supplied for all our junior players for after training. This has now stopped but I know our children really enjoyed there hot milos and we would love for this start again. We are asking parents to kindly donate either a tin/packets of milo or kindly donate funds to make this happen again. Lastly, any unpaid registration fees or payments for club socks that have not yet been paid, could this please be all paid up by 5th June, 2009.
